Remaining true to Halacha (the Rabbinical injunction), the artist replicated the
traditional shape of the goblet. However, he integrated his own artistic vision
into the form of the goblet. The work has two tiers. On the upper level is the
primary kiddush cup; on the lower level a group of smaller, secondary cups. An
interconnecting set of funnels forms a system for distributing the wine into the
several cups. The Fulfilling Cup (cylinder model) is post-modernistic in style. The primary goblet’s base is a graduated cone connected to a perfect globe. The halved globe forms the base of the kiddush cup. The goblet can be removed from its tier, revealing an internal funnel in the second half of the globe. This model is available in either six, eight or twelve divisions. The upper tier is balanced over six, eight or twelve cylindrical columns (the individual cups) which rest on a base. Each work is signed by the artist and is available in a limited edition.
