MICHAEL KUPIETZKY
was born in the United States in 1967 and
emigrated with his family shortly before the 1973Yom Kippur war. It
soon became evident that he possessed manual dexterity and artistic
talent. Education, technical training, working with the best in his field,
hard work and inspiration have broadened his skills.
In addition to yeshiva studies, Michael has participated in a crafts-
development program in the Israel Museum and at Bar Ilan University.
Always keeping in mind the Bauhaus principle, “form follows function,”
Michael creates art that is up-to-date, incorporating the latest
technology and design innovations.
The vibrancy of his work and the striking simplicity of his designs place
Michael on the cutting edge of contemporary and traditional Jewish design.Through his deep understanding
of classic Jewish texts and traditions, he creates works of art and building interiors, Arks and memorials
that embody the warmth of his Jewish experience. In his designs, Michael creates not only beautiful but
functional and meaningful works of art.
Michael resides in the Judean Hills outside of Jerusalem with his wife and children.
